Clients who do not have an existing outpatient therapist, nutritionist or psychiatrist can be seen by a treatment provider at the ED-180 offices on an outpatient basis. To request a treatment provider, please call our offices for clinician availability and schedules. However, it must be noted that it is our policy that clients referred to and participating in an ED-180 program are required to return to their referring clinician (for a minimum period of 60 days) unless otherwise directed and discharged by that clinician.
Meal and Support Groups (3-6 days/week). These groups are for non-program clients who have had an ED-180 program intake who require and are approved for supervised meals with therapeutic support. Clients who are in 3-day programs may also elect to have additional meal and support groups on non-program days.

Our newest Biolounge/Biofeedback treatment room compliments traditional medical and psychotherapeutic treatment methods by combining biofeedback training of the autonomic nervous system with mindfulness training, sound frequency healing, music therapy and guided imagery. The Biolounge also integrates a practical and entertaining biofeedback program based on decades of scientific research on the psychophysiology of stress, emotions and interactions between the heart, the brain and the central nervous system. The program is a user-friendly interface that measures heart rate variability (HRV) with a finger pulse sensor, collecting and analyzing real-time data on the body’s reaction and performance. Additional components may be added to also measure parameters such as blood pressure and respiratory rate.
Individual metabolic testing measures resting body metabolism which can be an important part of monitoring and planning meal plans for weight and exercise management. Tests are simple and can be scheduled with our medical assistant and can be reviewed with an ED-180 program clinician or your results can be sent to your private clinician.
One-on-one psychological screenings and/or computerized testing for eating, mood, and personality disorders can also be scheduled through our offices with a clinician who can provide you and/or you private clinician with a written report.
Treatment for alcohol and substance abuse is also available for clients and family members. Igal Rahmani, MD is a general psychiatrist who completed a fellowship in addiction psychiatry. We also have addiction therapists and substance testing at our facilities. Suboxone treatment is also available.
